ESB / Bord Gais Accounts

    Some info please.

I moved from a house in Cork to Louth in December. When I signed the lease at the new house, the estate agent said that they would sort out the transfer of Bord Gais and ESB.

Long story short - I am still paying for these accounts as no reading were taken. What options do I have? It seems the new ppl in the house in Cork havent bothered changing the ESB and BG to their name - what are my options?

    Thanks

Ring both companys and tell them that you want to terminate the accounts
as you no longer live there and give the date from which you moved.

You should have done this yourself as you are the one still legally resposible
for those accounts if the current occupants fail to pay them.

I tried BG, they wont do anything without a reading.
