lemon jelly/jelly lemon can't ever remember which way it goes, cute little cafe in temple bar out side bobs and they have one on the top level of the stephens green shopping centre.. best is a latte with vanila followed by a chocaholic crépe

I dont know I like the little coffee shops, have heard Starbucks is like rocket fuel though, would be interested to hear from someone who has actually been to one alot.

Sol Neu is my local, latte's are very nice and staff is always very plesent. So I will probably stick with them as long as this job lasts

Theres a small italian coffee place in the epicurean food hall its right beside itsabagel.. (The epicurean food hall is on Abbey Street/ Liffey Street by the way)

It is easily the best coffee place in dublin, all their stuff is imported from italy and the paninis are fantastic, all the staff are italian aswell and that adds to the atmosphere!!
The latte is so good you'll want another!!

Aye, It's up there with the best alright. Dark Sumatra coffee from Gloria Jeans is the nicest coffee I've had in Dublin. I'm into black coffee, not Cappuchinos though.

personally I would have to put Lemon up there, especially when you've just enjoyed a crepe with chocoloate buttons and ice cream.

I generally head anywhere that uses Illy coffee, that includes a couple of the Bar Italias, a spot in the westbury mall, bar bazaar (sligo). Also helps when they use a decent italian machine, the original cappucino cups made from heavy delft, and the coffee comes out looking like one of these: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tonx/sets/48921/ . Yumm..

You just can't beat Café Aroma in the GPO Arcade.

All the staff are utterly whipped. They just get down and do their work (of making the nicest cappuchino ever)

I have to say that Starbucks coffee is generally muck. It's not even the McDonalds of the cafe industry, its the Abrakabra.

If all their staff are Italian I rather hope they don't have "paninis" written on their menu, though maybe they sell spaghettis as well
