This is a bit of an odd question and but I guess you're all used to these so I will just go ahead and say it. What's in cum? I ask because it tastes salty and my doctor has told me I must cut down on my salt intake. Should I stop giving my boyfriend head?

All bodily secretions (urine, tears, sweat, semen etc) have some amount of salt in them.

However, the amount is not sufficient to have any effect on yours salt intake. So the answer is, you're safe.

You don't have to swallow ya know ;)

    Couldn't resist...
    Biology Lesson

In a biology class, the professor was discussing the high glucose levels found in semen. A female freshman raised her hand and asked, "If I understand you correctly, you're saying there is a lot of glucose, as in sugar, in semen?

"That's correct," responded the professor, going on to add statistical info.

Raising her hand again, she asked, "Then why doesn't it taste sweet?" After a stunned silence, the whole class burst out laughing. The poor girl's face turned bright red, and as she realized exactly what she had inadvertently said (or rather implied), she picked up her books without a word and went to walk out of class, never to return.

However, as she was going out the door, the professor's reply was classic. Totally straight-faced, he answered her question. "It doesn't taste sweet because the taste buds for sweetness are on the tip of your tongue and not the back of your throat. Have a good day."

page of "facts" probably to be taken with a pinch of salt http://www.perils-of-pleasure.com/Beginning/Sex%20Facts.html
Content of Semen: Ascorbic acid, blood-group antigens, calcium, cholesterol, chotine, citric acid, creatine, DNA, fructose, glutathione, hyaluronidase, lactic acid, magnesium, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, purine, pyrimidine, pyruvic acid, sodium, sorbitol, spermadine, spermine, urea, uric acid, vitamin B 12 and Zinc (but, this is not a good source for these vitamins and minerals)

    59. There is such a thing as a fractured penis: The fibrous tissue that keeps the penis engorged with blood during an erection tears. The patient usually shows up in the emergency room with a black and blue and swollen penis. (see information on fractured penis by clicking here)
