    Does anyone know if Eircom are upgrading the speeds on the FWA offering in line with the DSL changes ?

    Thanks

    Pure speculation, but I doubt it. First, it's not a DSL equivalent as it is, having only 64k upload. Also, there seems to be limited capacity on the Airspan access points they're using.

    Has anyone heard of anyone actually getting this service?

    @oscarBravo

    eircom FWA speeds will not change, speed increases only reflect Eircom Bitstream and not the eircom FWA (fwa covers Ground Wireless and Satelite).

    the stupid thing about this service is that it is already available in areas that are broadband enabled.

    It is a seperate more personal affair to getting it, you do not ring up eircom sales, you have to get the eircom fwa department.

    @Mr. Man

    Speed increases are to Eircom Bitstream (i.e wire dsl)
