    i relaly like the first one, it needs slight rotating to get the horizon level but there's something really tranquil about it and great colours

    the second one looks very much like an average snapshot to me, nothing all that special

    I like the first one aswell. Kind of a light sepia tone to it. The third is nice also, although might be nicer with less (or no) lens flare. Looks like nice scenery, pity the sun kills it.

    this lens flare you talk of.. would some soft of filter sort it out? new to this

    a lens hood would help reduce it
    depending on the type of camera depends on if you can get one. almost all SLR lenses have lens hoods available.

    if not, then just use your hand to shield the lens from direct sunlight as it causes reflections etc inside the lens which appear as bright blotches on your pictures

    yea i just got one of them the other day... thanks for the tip.

    i am using a canon something something basic slr with a selection of lenes

    what do you think of polarizing filters?

    i love polarising filters when they're not overused

    this is the only shot of mine that really utilises a polarising filter

    that is a nice shot really is..

    have ordered a p filter so want to experiment.. love a digital slr but the film aspect is what i love about slr
