Thomond Park is the home of Munster ... hell they are undefeated there in Heneikein Cup games!! The players say its there fav. place to play and all the merchandise has Thomond park on it.

Hell its like in MLB in America the chicago cubs play in 'the friendly confines' (Wrigly Field)! Munster play in thomond park 'The Sound of Silence', its on a whole load of posters and t shirts, which can be bought in the Munster rugby store, Patricks street, Limerick!!!!!

I know Thomond park is way too small but they could do three things, one redo Thomond Park , the same way they did The Gaelic Grounds (GAA)

    Or

Opening up the Gaeic grounds (50,000) to Munster, why should it just be Croke Park!!!!

    Or

Build a new Stadium on the Cork side of the city, perhaps Patrickswell (wouldnt cause any traffic congestion in city)

but the first option is preferred!!!

Well they operate out of both of them but yes it looks like Musgrave Park will be upgraded meaning that Munster will more likely play most of their games from there in the future!!!

Cant JP MacManus or someone step in and do something for thomond Gate
