Them online prices quoted above are insane, dont even consider booking from them.

I book my flights to Bangkok through Abbey travel on middle Abbery st not far from Spirit nightclub. Very unlikely that you will pay more than 800 euro for the flights and I think they still have flights for 570 but you have got to pay them off within ten days.

    Mark.

The one I quoted are for 2 people ( so half the price I quoted)

Didnt even think of going to Abbey Travel...Oh well, too late now, have the flights paid for.

Just spent the last hour online looking for flights to Bangkok for May.
    Tried a few sites..

Expedia seemed to be the best for a flight only deal, £375, thru Thai Air, but I noticed on their website that they don't take Credit Card bookings from International Addresses, Anyone find a way around this i.e. getting a relative/friend in UK to order for you.

Then I had a look at Lastminute.com, they had the sam flights as Expedia (Thai Air) but £25 more expensive, £400, checked later on their .ie site and those prices weren't even available, best price I could see on the .ie site was €800 (BA/Qantas).

I also checked Travelocity, they had the BA/Qantas flights for $970 but if you took a hotel room for the entire trip the price worked out at $830, cheaper than flight only option... thats €640!

Probably won't book until next week and by then prices will be very high, but still I am determined to go....

As you don't give dates, it's hard to check around for you - but expedia.co.uk will only except UK credit cards. If I were you, I'd book the lastminute.com ones as they do seem reasonably priced.

I've tried all of the above places for flights to Thailand in August which is peak season and by far and away the best deal we got was in USIT on the Quays. Return flights for €750 - more than 150 less than what Trailfinders were trying to shaf - I mean, QUOTE us!

They say this but I've often used an Irish credit card to book flights with them. Should be fine.
