    Got the below email from a member. So, thoughts from everyone here, anyway this issue can be resolved ?
    Hey,
    I hope this email goes, utvip has been flakey anyhow heres my story.
    About 3 days ago i was using the internet as happy as could be on 56k,
    till i decided to log off, and then re-log back in before i got booted
    from the dial-up service (yeah it was at 9hours 39minutes i didnt want
    to get kicked of during a really good IRC convo so i reconnected). As
    soon as i reconnected my internet suddenly dropped right off, ping time
    out from IRC, pages from the internet timedout, ssh connections failed
    to connect for longer than 30 seconds. I decided it must of been busy or
    whatever and left it for another day. Yesterday (15th of march) i tried
    connecting to no luck, it was horrid the timeouts were worse IRC was
    hell and ssh, forget it. I sent them a submission from there form and
    after i hit submit it said "your query will be answered within 48
    hours". A few moments later I get an auto-matic email from them saying

    We are currently experiencing an unusually high number of support e-mails
    therefore there may be a delay in responding to your enquiry but please bear
    with us and we will reply.




    Now that indicates to me that I am not the only person in the world
    having this "trouble". I called my mate today and asked him if he was
    still battling it out with UTVip. He said after 4 weeks he gave up, he
    wasnt going to go threw their stupid check lists espically when he
    checked it with 3 different computers and 4 different modems and every
    time, utvip was slow, and eircom-free at the horrendus rate at 1.27c a
    minute was perfect, exact same with me. I dont feel like arguing with
    UTV like he did so im going directly to you without waiting a few days
    to be told that its my problem. My friend and I are both IT students
    from NuiGalway, I work for a web hosting company on the internet and
    deal with internet problems for quite a bit of my time and I know when
    my computer is working and when its not. This is yet another example of
    RIP-OFF-IRELAND.

    Now why not suscribe to dsl, well its not in my area, why because eircom
    havnt switched on the DSL box at the bottom of my road because it
    wouldnt make sence for them to do it, whatever, and id be the first
    person on dsl if it was.

    So can you guys please press UTVip about these recent service issues as
    you will have more of an outcome than me.
