    This is going to sound unbelievably lame and probably isn't a personal issue in so far as I am not looking for advice (so mods do as you wish).

    I actually talked to a girl this evening - on my own :eek:

    I'm in my mid twenties and I have only ever once talked to a girl in a club/pub for more than five minutes (and I go out a lot). Yeah that means no scoring either.

    This isn't a confidence thing (I look pretty decent, work in sales etc) but rather a general inability to hold an inane conversation with anyone.
    If I 'aint got anything important or interesting to say then I keep me mouth shut.

    Anyway, while this led nowhere (other factors) it was a massive step forward and I feel pretty good :)
