Hey guys!! Has anyone heard about the Shaolin Monk Kung Fu Wushu concert on in the Limerick University Hall? I seen some of that on Euro sport once and I was blown away!! Can't wait to see it!!
Anyway I started Jiu-jitsu a 8 months ago, and I can't believe I didn't start it sooner. It's so addictive. Unfortunately I missed two gradings so I'm still a yellow belt (so depressing!!) Anyone else here do it?

Just so you know, i dont think its actually the Shaolin Monks themselves. The ad is for Masters of Shaolin Kung Fu. However, I'm going myself and I'm looking forward to it, having seen the Wheel of Life 2 years ago

Memphis, it on 3rd April, in the Limerick University Concert Hall, 8.00 pm ( I think!) tickets are 35 yoyos, or 25 if you are a student.

they are in Cork, Dublin, and I think Galway, but I dont know the details of these.

    Hope this helps

    Hi guys.

Does anyone know where you can get detailed pics of moves in jiu-jitsu?
It's just that I'm grading soon and I don't have a partner during the week when I'm at home to train with, so I'd love something that could help jog my brain and help me remember the moves when I'm not training.

Any help would be great!!! :)

Alternatively, there is the magic of google.
Also, boards.ie has a search engine, use it...

I went to see those masters of shaolin in UL last year (hmm maybe two years ago....??)
very dodgy set .......but very entertaining performance. After a half an hour of the jumping about they do you get an appreciation of the stamina these guys have.

they did all the cool stuff, throwing pins through glass, bending spears on the neck, suction lifting and such

    well worth seeing I thought
