I noticed yesterday that when playing media files through Windows Media PLayer 9, some files were playing upside down

Windows media audio files played are ok.. But Movie clips, upside down!!!!!!!!!! This doesnt make any sence to me.. I have updated windows, norton everything.. I have even re installed windows media player 9 (Win 2000 pro) and its still the same!

Pls any suggestions? reply in this thread,

    Thanks In advance.

Very bad idea to leave your email address on an open webforum. Unless of course you enjoy learning about the latest 100% legal herbal highs, viagra and the hottest babes just waiting for you!!

Strange problem though. Never heard of anything like it.

do u have ffdshow installed???? aswell as xivd and divx?
i've had this before when i installed ffdshow in combination with
    xvid ,

if not get the latest verison of the required codec check the file in gspot.

    1. What filetypes are affected? (.avi .mpg .wmv etc)
    2. Check the files with gspot to determine the codecs used.
    3. What happens if they are played with other media players (bsplayer, vlc etc)

Oh, I just remembered. If you have something called [font=verdana, arial, helvetica]DivXG400, uninstall it. It comes with codecpacks and is not really needed and cab cause this (Has a flip option)

Also, ensure you display is set to 32bit.

As a last resort, there is a flip function in FFDshow.
