    It's been posted on another board that Muse are to play the Trinity Ball!! Anyone else hear this!?

    Haven't heard that one, too good to be true. Groove Armada have been confirmed though.

    I heard from a fairly reputable source that Babyshambles are defo playing.

    When is it because as far as I know Pete is under some form of cerfew(sp??)

    when i was there i saw Muse, Supergrass, Rojskop (uhh now do you spell that), Groove armada, JJ72, Death in Vegas and a load of other deadly bands at differnt ones so anything is possible. I think this years ents officeer is taking the piss with the rumours though so far i have heard the manics,killers, babyshambles and muse all rumoured with someone always assuring me its a definite thing. If Bon jovi play im going with an ak47 for the good of the human race

    Wednesday 16 March – The legendary Trinity Ball is set to take place on Friday 13 May 2005 featuring headliners Ian Brown, Babyshambles, Lemon Jelly, Jacques Le Cont, Declan O' Rourke plus much much more. With a host artists performing across 4 stages, this years event is a hot ticket and is simply unmissable!

    Tickets priced 70 euro go on sale Monday 4 April and are available from the Trinity Student Union. Please note tickets can only be purchased by Trinity students with valid identification and are limited to 2 per person.

    There was no ball planned for this year, but further to a joint venture between Trinity Students Union and MCD, it was decided to continue with the event and this year see’s the best line up ever. MCD spokesperson Brian Spollen said “ The Trinity Ball is one of the last great nights in Dublin City and with this years line up, it looks like its going to be a very good and very long night!”

    Cant get the page up but I'll take your word for it. I'm not a Ian hater, love his solo material and he does Roses songs live now so could be quite a surprise.
    Never thought I'd be tripping out listening to Resurrection played live whilst wearing a tux...strange fruit indeed
