I would like to thank you both for your comments, you have made me realise that i am looking in the wrong places for answers i want too much maybe. And posting here WAS a bad idea, but please realise how desperete i was to find answers. I feel that any mediums my family have gone to have been rubbish " I see the letter G etc " and nothing precise. If you could give me cobtact details of someone who could GENUINELY help, then that would be very much aprriciated. By the way, why were you going to quote Raglin Road?
That was my dads favorite song! :eek: And it has great meaning to the whole family with regards to my dad. Thank you both for slapping some sense back in to me.

First of all, after reading your account I can comprehend how you must be feeling and also understand how significant those signs you have received are for you and yours.
I wouldn't doubt them.
I also understand how you feel the need for verification, hence the questionaire.
To be honest, I didn't feel it was appropriate to answer them, and not because I don't want you to think that they can't be answered but because I believe our losses are sarcred to us and deserve a little more respect. (maybe someone else will feel differently)

You said you have been careful in not giving away too much, but I think it would have been better for you to have a sitting with someone without any of that prior knowledge. Something as simple as the playing card, a genuine medium would not have to be informed about, it could have been something they might have picked up on without suggestion..which makes the validation even more significant.
But if you feel you want to see a medium, I (and others here) can reccomend one for you.

I promise you I would never mess about a post like yours. I can only agree with solas, that direct contact with a medium who does not know you would be better. Even the info you have given would lead people, even unintentionally, into cold reading. I would love to be able to answer your questions for you, but past experience has shown me that in this environment I dont do too well. Also, having an expectation of 9/10 right will only lead to disapointment here. I think your situation is too serious to you for anyone to be flippant and throw out answers, as with a game we did on another post, although I understand completely why you have set it out this way.

Sometimes what we want to hear, and what would be 'good' for us to hear are two different things. You seem doubtful over what has happened and in need of solid 'proof'. Maybe think of what will change for you if you get this, will that kind of knowledge make you feel better, or worse? Will evidence of an afterlife reassure you or rock what you belive in? I am asking this honestly as you are still greiving and may not be able for this kind of proof yet. You may be dissapointed that you have not had your own experience, but this may be because it would not be the best thing for you. When you are ready, you will notice the sign without any help from us.

If it helps at all, I have had similar experiences, from what Katie has described she knows what your talking about too, and there are sure to be one or two others who can understand where your comming from. I think thats why some of us are here.
Spirit works in subtle ways and its usually up to us to decide where the truth is.

It is very difficult to get the degree of accuracy you are looking for. I dont go to mediums myself at all anymore, so I cannot offer you any further help with recommendations. Unfortunately there are a lot of people offering the service who are well meaning, but dont come up with the goods. Its a very innacurate science anyway. Dont give up on this, but be patient and let it happen for you in its own time. Sometimes its when you stop looking, that you suddenly see.

(I didnt intend to slap sense into you , a lot would say Im the last person entitled to do that!)
