    This is really weird. I can't open any site except boards... I've tried google, gmail, myspace and it just reports
    "www.whateveritypein.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again."

    I'm very confused...

    Could anybody help me?

    The obvious thing to ask is has anything changed lately, have you installed any firewall software, new browser, changed network settings etc ? It's also possible whatever DNS servers (they convert the whateveritypein.com to an IP address) you're using are down try browsing to http://64.233.161.104/ (google.ie, I swear :) ) and see if that works.

    edit: also trying pinging that address, Start->Run type in cmd and press enter, then type in ping 64.233.161.104 and press enter

    Thanks everyone. I cleared the cache and everything. No change, restarted the computer and bingo! Works fine...
