Bill Bergin, based in Coolock, does lessons from his home pretty reasonable. This guy is the best bass player I've heard in Ireland by quite a long way, worth checking out if you're in the area. He's contactable on 085 7293867.

I'd seriously recommend Bill Bergin alright. You can pay as you go along and the thing about lessons is that you could have enough material from one session to last a few weeks. So you can go back when you want. He's certainly transformed my playing.

All the better, you'll learn all the good habits from the very start and from the very best.
