Has anybody ever used one of these or anything similar?

I have a couple of queries, if it is capable of recording from a VCR then can it also record cable if the video recorder is connected to the cable?

Secondly, would it be possible to hook up a digisender to this and get it to record the outputs from the Digisender?

Also, is it possible to playback on a PC directly from a VCR or do you have to record to DVD then playback?

from what i gather its just a yellow-rca video in for your pc
anyhting that outputs in that format, and you can get adapters for scarts, should work fine.

that means you can record tv off your video and record vhs, all directly to the pc, no need to burn to dvd again

    digisender should work no problem
