need to get a guitar repaired

    hi guys,

    can anyone suggest a good place to get a repair done (quickly) on a takamine guitar? I tried Waltons but their guy is off at the moment.
    The repair is on the input jack at the base of the guitar, which gives a nasty crackling when plugged into a PA (amoungst a couple of other nasty things gone wrong on this guitar)

    i know the number of a guy in swords,Dublin who repairs guitars im not sure if he fixes elecronic problems but he repaired my girlfriends takamine which had the head broken off completely.he did an unbelievable job really its good as new now.pm me if youre interested cos im sure this guy wont want me sticking his phone number up on t'internet!

    Best place for takamine repairs is Sound Gear in portabello. They're no what they're at and they wont charge you much because they're primarily a distributor. Nearish to the city centre, you can get a 14/14a out there
