Very unlucky for connections - he's now missed it 2 years in a row.

In other news, Rule Supreme is going for the World Hurdle - GET ON!!

My 24-1 double of Hardy Eustace is looking better and better every day. Although there is a little matter of today at 3.15 though

Yea I know crumbs, ive just lost 2 antepost bets in a day, ruleSupreme for the GC and Kingscliff... terrible news

I suspect today I'll lose all my moneys and so won't be able to bet the next 3 days! :)

Here's the tip of the day.
Buy Paddy Power shares (even though they are at an all time high)
Most of the fancies in the GC have been withdrawn so they have all that dosh in the bag.
If there's very few Irish winners or winning fav's, they will make a fortune.

There's a few bookies doing well on the markets now but somehow I think the excitment of watching your stock slowly rise doesn't quite match the thrill of getting a big winner even if it is a sound investment.

The whole Rule Supreme situation has left me with a bad taste in my mouth, connections had all but confirmed his for the Gold Cup. Willie Mullins said on TV the other day that with Best Mate coming out that had swung his decision in favour of the Gold Cup.

I can't help thinking that this was done on purpose to throw people off, I wonder how much of the 40/1 that was on offer on Betfair for the World Hurdle was taken by connections.

I wish trainers would be honest with the public as to their thoughts. The same happened with Kingscliff, Alner and Thornton were actually on 5 live the night before saying he was in great condition.

    It's a fukkin sham...

    Won't be touching ante-post again...

Come on the irish anyway, we better score a win in this champion hurdle!
