Can't connect to WoW?

    Anyone else having trouble this morning connecting to WoW or even its official websites? I don't seem to be able to get on

    The more important question is WHAT Are you doing planing at this time of the morning !! You know how bad that makes the rest of us feel !! well me anyway.. ;)

    I can connect to the WoW forum from work at the moment so I presume the site is up :/

    Under Server status aswell in the forum page, their are no new messages about servers down or anything

    it was a temp thing with my ISP i think. All good now :D

    Now it tells me that my subscription has run out.
    But my sub is paid by credit card for 6 months.
    So I think no problem I'll go over and take a look in account managment.
    But I'd imagine Blizzard have disabled a load of accounts at the same time so I can't get into the account managment page cause its overloaded.

    same problem here. For some reason their authentication service refused to accept the credit card details, even though I used the SAME CC to pay for my US account. I guess it's gonna stay that way till I can give their billing support a ring on monday.

    Also, yes it looks like they disabled everyone whose payment hasn't gone through, and so everyone (esp since it's the weekend) has gone to their account management page trying to find out what the problem is. Looks like their account server has buckled under the load of a few hundred thousand disgruntled and desperate WoW players :).

    Seriously it was retarded of them to do this over the weekend when their billing hotline as well as Tech Support is closed.

    lots of other ppl having the same problem, ofc most of the ppl with this problem won't be able to post due to their account being disabled. I'm guessing most are posting through a 2nd account or on a friend's account.

    this is making me so mad - the very thing that is meant to make them money and they can't get it right?

    I love the game, despite the fact that it has ruined my life, but this is really very poor....

    Can't some moron just make an executive decision ot allow play for free until tomorrow when they can get their server problems sorted? I'd love to just tell them to fúck off and stuff their subscription, but they know I'm addicted the bástards....

    I re-entered my Credit card details.
    Now it says I've signed up for 2x6 months but I'm not bothered as its only gonna charge for 1 now.
    I can also get into my account now which is cool :)

    yup i manged to get mine fixed as well.
    What you do is click on "account management" on the main page.
    Then copy your username.
    Then just hammer the login server till u get in.

    The pages are slow to load but it seems to be working once u can actually get in

    Bah I'm still trying to get into my a/c management page. This is starting to annoy me. It's worse then quiting cigerattes :(

    Last week when I logged into my account management page, it said my credit card details were invalid. I entered them again, but last friday it did the same thing. I entered them again and that time it worked, and charged my card (acccording to the site). Luckily my account wasn't closed for any amount of time :)

    Apparantly they can't save the CVV2 number on their system (legal reasons they claim) so it'll lose the details, and then can't charge your card. According to the GMs on the forum anyway. So you'll have to do this every 1/3/6 months :p

    Got up Saturday (19th) and decided to see if my credit card had been accepted (due to the notice on their webpage). Of course it was invalid. Reentered my details and all sorted. My subscription had actually been expired since the 15th (with the 3 extra bonus days that they gave us) but I was still able to play. So I got an extra 4 days play for nothing :)
