Tech Q's on Line Test and DSL Reach

Having looked thru the Bitstream spec docs I can see no mention of any change in the Line test system . Are we to take it that the old RADSL 512k going up to 4.5km is now 1024k to 4.5km and that no package will work beyond that ? What happened to ADSL2 or 2+ or RE-ADSL, after all 256 at 6km is better than, emmmm , nothing…
