    Hi guys,

I've just moved my domain name to a nice fast NT box from an old clunky slow Unix box and want to see if the DNS transfer has propogated yet.

So ... what do you see when you go to www.scaryeire.com ?

Do you see a message saying "This web site is in the process of being transferred to a new server" ... or do you see one saying "This web site is now housed on a new secure high-speed server" ?

    - oh ... and what ISP are you on ?

I appreciate your replies, folks - Thanks!

Nice one... great stuff... that propogated fast... dammmmnnnn!!! biggrin.gif

I'm one of the DNS Admins on our own DNS server and it is the primary DNS server for that domain. I made the changes manually to the DNS records ( good old vi on Solaris wink.gif ) myself early yesterday afternoon.

Oh yeah... the contact link would have worked on the old server because there was an alias set up in Apache called "sendniallanemail" which redirected to a mailto: URL. That way the URL on the site could change and I just changed the admin email address in the Apache config if necessary. Thanks for pointing that out, man... I'll sort it wink.gif

    Thanks for the feedback, guys.
