I just received a 50/1 tip for the 4.40 in Stratford-on-Avon so you can throw a couple of € each way on it if you wish.

    10. Totland Bay.

No john's legacy was pulled at the post.

If Totland Bay. had only stayed on his feet

To be fair he didn't look half good enough and always looked like he was about to fall!

    What a ridiculous race :)

Went down to an SP of 25/1. All he had to do was stay up and would have probably got a place.

    That's very strange.
Betting in running on Betfair John's legacy you could have laid him at 1.04
was the low and loads at 2.0 and 3.0?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,807 ✭✭✭chump

eirebhoy there were 2 rule 4's ... you 50/1 probably would have been equal to that if he had got around

When a horse is withdrawn just before the start, Betfair don't have time to remove him from the in-running betting. All in-running bets struck on the horse are declared void after the race, so some people pile loads onto it (knowing they'll get their money back) in order to artificially increase the odds of the other horses in the race.

It's a ploy used to trick bots (and also people who place bets without watching or listening to the race).

Would have been placed had it stayed on its feet, but would have been placed only because other better horses didnt stay on theirs.

    That's out of order.
Why don't they put it in red or something like that so at least then everybody has an idea of what's going on.
