This week saw the return of the much hyped Boo.Com, the online sports
and fashion retailer that closed several months ago after spending an
eye goggling $130 million in the 18 months before closing shop. The
revamped site has scaled down on technology with more emphasis on
selling than on looking sexy. Gone are the 360 degree rotations gifs and
clever zooms with a more user-friendly interface taking its place.
ETailer Fashionmall.com has acquired the domain name, technology and
content and the new boo will look to advertising, page sponsorships and
direct marketing as well as product sales for revenue.
Let's see how long it lasts this time, eh?
