When I plug my USB disk key in, I can access it through /dev/sda, when my sister plugs her iPod in it's now at /dev/sdb. But if I hadn't plugged my disk key in, it would be at /dev/sda. (Which is what my /etc/fstab says). GtkPod requires that the iPod be at /mnt/ipod, I can't put many lines in /etc/fstab to refer to /mnt/ipod, as nautilus will just use the first one it comes across. This is very annoying, the solution I use is to reboot the machine. (My skin craws at the Windows-ness of that 'solution').

    How can I fix this?
