    Ended up at the Gutshot Club today after a weekend away turned into a bit of a disaster and I was at a loose end.

    Entered their 2pm Sunday afternoon tourney (Fitz!!??), £30 freezout.
    52 runners and a crazy blind structure made for a preflop tournament until the final table. Got there with an average stack and after a couple of nice big pocket pairs, 5 hours and some savage final table play all around, I finished first.

    Well impressed with the place Stg£560 richer and glad my mate got the flu (does that sound bad!?) or I would never have been here :)

    They serve great Guinness too.....
