    i am annoyed!

    there used to be a glorious way to spend a sunday in galway sitting in a pub getting cheap beer and free pizza and this glorious event was called.....

    Duff Sunday

    This great event used to take place in the GPO. The reason i am posting it here is that it used to show large screen simpsons for a few hours based round sundays sky one schedule. Duff Beer as it was known cost 2.50 (but it really was carlsberg) and Flaming moes were also 2.50 (s*x on the beach cocktails) there was also free pizza from dominos (see the ad breaks) oh how i used to love this day!

    but now to return to my opening statement....i am annoyed...it dont happen anymore...they still show simpsons on a large screen but no free pizza no cheap beer! awh!

    Anyone else know of such an event elsewhere?
