Does Radio Advertisement really work?

    I'm sure you've all seen the Today FM advertisements on billboards and on the side of buses. You know the one that shows the heads of the DJs.

    I'm sure they've spent thousands of euro on these ads but do they really work?

    Who's goona say "oh they look good, i must tune into them".

    FM104 is another one, with their Strawberry Alarm clock ads, only a small percentage of people would know what these ads are about.

    I don't know about you guys but I don't stick to one radio station, I constantly switch around until I find a decent song.

    I think it's more about raising brand awareness than advertising, like Coke, everyone knows who they are, they only advertise to maintain their dominance
