Anyone get a glimpse of Mercury these last few days? I heard from somewhere that Mercury was visible in the sky for a short period after the Sun sets. I checked this last Sunday and lo behold so it was :) ... It was a pretty bright starry point at the 11 o'clock position relative to the sun. I haven't seen it since due to the cloudy weather. Look directly west around
and after the sun sets up to about 19:30 when Mercury sets. It will stay longer and longer in the sky each evening until the 16th of March... of course the sun is setting later and later these days when makes that sky a bit too bright early in the evening. Friday evening was special with the new moon crescent close to Mercury. Unfortunately bad weather blocked this too.

    Anyone get to see it?
