    Would anyone know of the existance of a mini garage in Ireland, Northern Ireland or England where I might be likely to come accross a pre 1983 modified mini for road use.

    Any suggestions would be great

    Ray in the Galway Mini Centre always has unusual stuff for sale - PM me for number. What kind of mods are you looking for? Yeah - why pre '83?

    MissWorld, try looking up "Rodney Evans" in Delgany - He is a mini specialist, and his son rallies them. They may be able to help you out. I'm afraid I don't have any numbers.

    If you are based in the UK, then there should be no shortage of classic minis. Buy one of the magazines like this and there are loads of classifieds at the back.

    And btw - Greenbloods mini is an immaculate, prize winning '68 Super Deluxe - that he doesn't actually want to part with, he just needs some decent storage to preserve it :)

    It has to be Pre 1983 for classic Insurance reasons. 1983 is what is stated on the CarlNash site.

    ta hedley... 66 actually - pre england world cup win, so its from a better era ;-)

    I think you'll find Nash will deal with minis over 20 yrs old, so it would be 85 now...
