I have a second computer that i use as a backup in case my main one goes down for whatever reason (just in case i badly need the use of one)
but for the most part it hasnt been built yet so just out of curiosity if i was to build it how much in your opinion would it be worth

    Spec
Custom Aluminium ATX Case (Pics below)
Athlon XP "Barton" 2800+ w/ Coolermaster Aero 7+ HSF
Radeon 9700PRO w/ Arctic Cooling 3 vga cooler
Asus A7N8X Deluxe Gold (Nforce Ultra 400/dual ddr etc.)
    512 MB Corsair PC3200 (400mhz)
80Gb Maxtor Diamond Max Plus 9
    LG CD-RW Drive
    Sony 1.44MB folppy Drive
    Q-Tec 550WP Dual Fan Gold
    Windows XP Professional SP2

I dont have latest pics but the red fan in the window has been replaced with a Transparent one (so all blue now)

Front panel can change to seven different colours and can cycle them

Also pressing the bottom plate above reveals usb+Firewire+sound front panel

Just out of curiosity why do you need a custom atx aluminium case on a backup system?

People who go in for this sort of thing don't NEED a reason. If case-modders had been involved in the design of the Voyager probe, rest assured it would be convered with anodised aluminium and flashing LEDs (or neons; don't think they had LEDs back then)

I mean, he's got a watercooled GRAPHICS CARD; expecting sensibleness in the backup machine is pushing it

Seriously, tho, I'm sure it's still worth a bit; the hardware is reasonably current.
    Rob.

this was my previous case, then i opted to go to water cooling so i upgraded to an athlon 64 cpu and changed to a full tower case

my intended backup not watercooled, my main one is however. the backup is air cooled with a coolermaster aero7+ (cpu) and an arctic cooling ati silencer 3
