    I just found the biggist rip off ever the game World of warcraft
    first you pay €60 to by the game thats ok about average
    but then if you want to play the game wich is the whole aim of the game you have to pay €12 every month. What a rip off

    Its a mmorpg, they have hundreds of servers running letting millions of people play online. That money barely covers their costs

    Biggest ripoff ever? No way mate. I paid some installer to come and connect me to Sky a while back. Charged about 50 euros which I thought was good as a special offer as they threw in a Sky box and a dish (everyone else was charging the same so it was about average)

    Then I found out that if you want to watch TV channels like Sky One on it which is the whole aim of getting Sky you have to pay them money every month. More money than €12 every month. Every bleeding month. Man, I feel screwed.

    Engineer installation - €150 odd or something.
    Self installation - €70 odd.

    You install yourself, and you still pay. Not that's the biggest ripoff.....

    Are you braindead?
    WoW sells at the 60 quid or whatever and includes the 1st month of play free. After that it's €12 p/m. You are paying for server maintenance, patches, updates, new content, customer service and future expansion development. By their very nature MMORPGs are insanely expensive to develop and run. If you wanna play you gotta pay.
    BTW it does state clearly on the box that it is a subscription based game...
    CAVEAT EMPTOR!
