Wireless Lan??

could anybody help me with this I have tried to set up a wired network before but miserably failed.
I need advice on what equipment I should buy if I want to share a broadband connection from EsatBT ( i have a USB RJ11 modem) with my PC my laptop and my PS2 console for online gaming.
Has anyone set up a network like this before??? If so please post here the relevant equipment you used.

How does a PS2 connect to a Network??

Your wireless router will also come with 4 LAN ports on the back so you can connect your PC to it using a standard network cable.

Ok so it will go something like this

PS2 connected wirelessly or wiredly to your new router. This is a personal choice depending on where your PS2 is located. Going wireless will add to the cost but is more convenient.

PC connected Wired into the router using a standard Cat5 network cable, your PC just needs a network (RJ45) card.

Laptop connected wirelessly.

Sticking to the same brand for your wireless gear will offer the best performance. I recommend DLink. Have a look at other posts here there's two very similar new posts in the wireless forum.

are you sure that router is the modem as well and my ps2 is far away from my PC so what wud i need for that

Not 100% sure, google it!! Don't have the time now to look for ya. I don't have ADSL, I got wireless broadband, so I dont know too much about that side of things.

That'll connect into the PS2 network adapter, and serve as the link between the PS2 and the Wireless Router mentioned above.
