    I set up my gmail account and it was working fine.. and was always sitting quiet happly in my task bar.. and its gone GONE!!!
    where would it be.. ???
    btw.. i tried to download a gmail notifier but it stopped half way through
    help.. help me get my :mad: gmail or the puppy gets it!!

    What do you mean by its gone? Did you try and login from the gmail front page?

    front page?? there is no page.. its gone. I think my daugher was online but she would hardly delete it by accident???
    its not on desktop.. not on task bar, startup,
    so how do i find it if indeed it is still here?

    Your Daugther deleted Gmail? :P Master Hacker herself..

    To login to your email, open up a webbrowser (Firefox or Internet Explorer for example) and type in the "address" bar http://gmail.google.com

    Or simply click this link: http://gmail.google.com

    I have no idea what she could of removed, but you might want to check in the "Recycle Bin" on the PC (go to the Desktop > Recycle Bin). A new window should appear with a list of items deleted. Is the gmail link there? If so, right click it and click "Restore". The file will now go back to where it originally was.

    Add it to your favourites and if that's notenough you can drag it from your favourites to the desktop.

    You can also download the GMail Notifier, which is a handy little application that puts a mail symbol down on your taskbar and will notify you whenever you get new mail.
