No picture being received on Sky box

    Just turned on my TV and noticed that I am receiving no pictures through my sky box. I am however able to browse through the EPG and change from channel to channel - there's just nothing on any of them! I checked my system setup and check signal test it tells me that i have a network id of 0000 and a transport stream of 0000.

    Any ideas?

    Does it say "No satellite signal being received" on each channel you try to watch?

    On the Signal Test, what's the signal strength and quality levels?

    Perhaps a reboot might fix the problem

    I think this happened to me before. As far as I remember it turned out to be a loose Scart lead.

    It might be something as simple as a dodgy connection at the coaxial input from the satellite.Happened to me a few times , till i got a new connector on it.
    Dish could be also mis-alinged.

    I have the same problem today!!! :mad: My EPG is showing up ok, in SKY news active I can read all the text, I have perfect sound in all channels, but the picture is scrambled... I use one of the english freeview cards, so I thought it was a problem with that first.... but even when I take out the card, and reset to use the free channels available to Ireland the problem is the same. I have rebooted everything, even tried a forced software download, checked all the wires etc etc.... Any ideas?
