Laser wheel alignment

I've tried one of those Advance Pitstop places for tracking but the system was very antiquated. Individual frames on each wheel but with this rather tragic laser measuring and matey making adjustments with his monkey wrench. In addition, the staff were surly and moaned when I brought my car back for re-adjusting after testing it.

What I'm looking for is the latest tech, where the correct alignment config comes up for your particular vehicle (down to year and engine model) on the computer and adjustment is done based on this. At the end you get a printout showing your camber, toe-out, etc vs optimal settings. Does any place in Dublin offer this?

Just to add to Jefferson's query....can it be done to any car cause when I went to get mine done, I was told that 4 wheel alignment cannot be done on my car ('98 Ford Escort)

Yes contact Dave McCann tyres on 8202221. He has a laser alignment machine and also gives you a printout with all you have mentioned above. He types in the make, model & year of car and the computer does the rest. He's in Coolmine Industrial Estate in D15. Give him a call as you'll have to book your car in with him. Think max cost is €50.

The good thing is too if your car is lowered his machine does not have a ramp on it, its flush with the ground so no worries of scrubbing :)

Thanks Dave. Will give him a ring tomorrow.

Those twits at Advance charged me 40 smackers, did it twice and it still isn't right. And its not due to structural damage on the suspension or chassis.
