Autobahn and Nordschleife are more suitable though methinks ;)

The driver is a student that does some messages for a very wealthy businessman that owns loads of supercars. He is allowed to use those cars while working for him. In the Netherlands it is the car that is insured, not the person. Anyone can drive any car fully insured provided they have the owner's blessing. The passenger is only 15. The police are powerless unless the driver is caught in the act / gatsoed

what's with the sticky-on number plates ? I thought it may have been to cover up originals should they be reported to da fuzz for an 180mph drive-by..

He's got a nice Bugatti in that garage also, I wonder if he spotted the 'student' reverse into a load of bicycles in the 360 modena ;)

only 15 and they cant do anything about it?
Why not? i mean you have to be 18 to get a driving licence!
    Explain it to me please.

Most of the dudes' cars are not insured / taxed / registered in the common way. No VRT paid and all like :)

The Enzo needed a new exhaust. The servicing garage provided Trade insurance plates. HA = handel (trade). The trip in the Murcielago had only one purpose - to collect the trade plates from the garage in order to stick them on the Enzo to drive the Enzo to the garage to receive it's exhaust

The 360 Spider and the Murcielago are the daily drivers and normally insured

Indeed, Bugatti EB 110 Super Sport. 4 turbos, only 31 produced - worth an absolute fortune. 351 km/h

This is faster than any Ferrari (including Enzo), Lambo and what not. Not yet Koenigsegg territory though ;)

List of some of the supercars he owns:
    Ferrari F40
    Ferrari F50
    Ferrari Enzo
    Ferrari 360 Modena
    Ferrari 360 Spider
    Ferrari Testarossa
    Ferrari F355 Berlinetta
    Ferrari 456 GT
    Ferrari 512 Berlinetta Boxer
    Ferrari Dino 246 GT
    Ferrari GTO 1962 (Replica)
    Lamborghini Diablo
    Lamborghini Murciélago
    Lamborghini Gallardo
    Bugatti EB 110 Super Sport
    Pagani Zonda

Incidentally, the Enzo was the fifth and last one for the Dutch market. Anyone got a breakdown of where they all went globally?

I think schumi had/has one of those EB 110's, biggest problem i'd see with them is parts availability (lets say you crashed one?) since they went bankrupt during the mid nineties. I think Dauer used up all available parts on the production line with afew end-of-line special edition models, and even they had to prefabricate a lot of engine components and carbo-fiber bodywork for instance because of the shortage in supply. That 3.5l V12 seems very stressed also and not something you'd really like to 'exploit' at every straight or opportunity given the scarcity of parts and potential to go pop (think of two 1.7L V6s welded together),. look at the Zonda (7.0l ?) for example and it seems positively relaxed by comparison.

I realise this may come as a shock to all corgi car wielding ferrari fans here, but I'm not sure I like the Enzo much either, its basically an F1 car with some carbon fiber wings stuck on that would probably only hit the road in spots given its rock-hard suspension, reckon I'd take the much more cultured Murcielago or Zonda instead for a quick jaunt across europe (to sample the best strip joints), and maybe settle on a nice ('lil hoo and) house 'n garage within shouting distance of the nurburgring with the change.

You seem to be on a first name basis with that fella unkel, if he needs any more exhausts (or a pint of milk even) gimme a shout an' I'll sort him out.

The warning lights and incessant beeping in the first ferarri they were driving amused me.

If im not mistaken, i think the chassis left over from the eb110 production where used by edonis to make a very nice car.
One of the beebs was when the car was lifting up so it can clear ramps, thats what the guy said anyway, very anoying sound.
