pay structure?

    Hi,
    Sorry for the basic questions!

    I started work in telesales this week thought id like it turns out its hell, you get paid after a month, if i quit after a week will i stil get paid/ also its such a huge company nobody would notice if i did, should i still tell someone?

    Most major companies will operate a bi-weekly or monthly payroll as it can be a lot less hassle to organise. It can be a bit of a pain if you start just as the payment period starts though.

    If you quit after a week you should get paid for the hours you worked.

    If you plan on quitting tell your immediate supervisor/manager. Since you're jumping ship after a week it won't matter one way or another about working notice but its always good to be courteous and inform someone.

    Also you still won't get paid til the end of the payroll period if you quit after a week.

    Thanks guys for the info. i will tell them im going they've been decent with me with training etc but i know now that its not for me
