    Yea just save as a .doc file in Adobi Acrobat. I have version 6 professional

    there is also a small program that will convert it from pdf to doc format, cant remember the name of it offhand but its free from www.download.com

    This one does an okay job. If not, and it's only for one or two files, you can send me the PDF and I'll send you back a DOC.

    if not protected, then choose the test selection box and copy it , later versions of the reader 6 have an option to save as text

    You could also use pdfcreator to print it to tif/jpg and then SimpleOcr 3.1 - messy but free

    Oh and since one of the reasons for using PDF's is to stop you copying , it's not meant to be easy - also you would need to check copyright implications

    I used a program called Doc Pixie I think to do this before, full version was only 3 euro and for the amount of docs i had to convert it was worth it
