I believe they are playing Agen at home at 19:00 on Sat 26th. I'll be flying into the local airport at 16:40, God and Ryanair willing.

Has anyone been to a game there - is the ground far from the airport? Any advice? Tickets hard to get/pay at the gate?

I think a french league game (in a green jersey ;)) would be a nice kick-off to a weekend break down in the south of France...

    Cheers,
    Al.

picka rooney, whats it like, my brother is heading over there next week, until September. Would you say he would have much success in gettin a temporary job, or getting by with out much of a problem.

To be honest, I doubt it, at least until the tourist or grape-picking season starts, which isn't for a good few months yet. If he doesn't speak fluent French (or Catalan) his chances are even more reduced, but I suppose there's always a chance of some bar work, although I wouldn't count on it.
It's in a fantastic spot, close to the sea, the mountains and Spain. Best of luck to him.

    Sorry for derugbifying the thread.
