I bought mine at easyspace for something like £20 a year, which I thought was pretty cheap.

    Check it out at www.easyspace.com

thats got to be the cheapest good hosting (if its good) I spent a lot of time looking for cheap stuff, but i didn't find anything that low except free ones that are fairly useless for a commercial site.

I think Joker.com provide .com/net/org domains for around $10 or so... I may be wrong.

    I'm getting hosting from www.webworld.ie
It goes from £10 a month upwards. that's on NT though, if you want Linux hosting it starts at £15 a month.

It's actually worth it if you're going for a commercial site. You'll get pretty much full access to the server so that means telnet, mysql, cgi, php, realplayer, full unix utils etc

Of course if you just want to slap a few HTML pages on the web get the one for £20
