My Friend is thinking of leaving to set up on their own. The person have a good few years experience as a project manager mainly in IT . Is there any great market out there at the moment for contracting project managers. I dont think it would be a good idea. Whats your opinion? Thanks

Any technical skills in addition to project management - i.e. SQL or Cobol? There is more demand for this - or indeed any vertical market experience (insurance, banking, manufacturing etc.)
