i've done a few lans, i've had more fun when i just left the PC at home and instead had beers and chatted about games/old times etc. But then I'm a crusty old online gamer who started in 97. I'd be more on for arranging a 'sad sim racer' corner with one of the boards beers. we could get drunk and discuss pedal travel, momo pots, the single dot - double dot squash ball debat and other such wonders :)

Not a bad idea. I`ve a nice golden ale fermenting at the moment, could bring a bottle or 20.

lol this was extensively tested during my uni days, the laptime reduction per pint.
it drops by 1 sec per pint roughly, up to 3 pints, then it doesnt get worse.
Im esp proud of a 1.29 at monaco in a cooper, when properly pissed :-)
