I had a quick go on a demo pod today, tried to play a quick game but could only get to some sprint training crap. So anyway, I sprint for five yards, get tackled, try again. Repeat for five minutes and walk away in disgust.

is it just me or does it look like the ruck play is really ****ing slow in game?

It would need to be a 1005 improvement from the 2004 version to be worth buying!
    Is it?

It's a massive improvement from the unplayable 2004. Now whether or not its worth buying [for those so inclined to such things] is another question. But its worth a go anyway.

    Can someone help me
I'm having problems with Scrums and Lineouts.
In the lien outs, every second lien out I'm given a foul against and I don't know why.
In the scrum, when I press the in button, I get an automatica fine very time
If I press 2 the ball goes in, and its a foul instantly, don't have time to press 1 to kick it back, very annoying

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 166,026 ✭✭✭✭LegacyUser

You are getting booked because you are raising your foot before the ball is in...you have to throw the ball in and then raise the foot to hook it back...

What controller are you using PHB!?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

    Im using a PS2 converter.

I was doing that at fits, but I stopped it.
If the scrum starts, and I do nothing.
The I press two to put the ball in, its an automatic foula nd it doesnt say why.

Sorry man I do not know the answer to that.

But I have a ps2 converter but i find it really hard to know the buttons because the configuration is different. Did you find a way to change them to match the tutorial or something?
