On eircom broadband, is the UDP ports (udp rtp, udp sip,
upd stun) open, so i can use
ip telephony there? I will use an ip telephone box from
abroad to be able to have calls received on my foreign
phone number - but is it possible?

I'm not so sure that you need to set up the pinholes...

I have a Voip gateway in work that just DHCPs to blueface and works through the netopia router.

In fairness, both the gateway and the router have a feature called uPnP switched on...
