I don't think it matters if you send a mail or not, try booking a return flight to Frankfurt flying out on 10/5 and coming back on the 11/5

Is there a link or anything for this? I heard someone talking about it but I don't see anything on the ryanair site.

its impossible to do. i sent the mail and cant get the flights. its just a gimmick to get you to send the mail

Looks a bit dogdy, but, 03 May return 10 May to Frankfurt is €0.02.

Obiviously you don't have to send the mail - seems like there is no checking done.

Yeah, exactly.. just another gimmick from the union bashing O'Leary.. the man bought a taxi plate so he could drive in the bus lanes after all. ;)

Of course the mail is a gimmick, I certainly wouldn't be persuaded by scum like O'Leary to make a political statement to anybody.

There are lots of free* flights though, as long as you go off-peak. That means mid week on certain dates.

*A €0.02 return Dublin to London still requires a payment of €41.46

It says you get a free flight excluding taxes and that is exactly what you get (well if you count 1-2c as free). You send an e-mail to Bertie and you get your free flight, you don't send an e-mail and it doesn't make a difference, so what?

So I was just posting exactly how much the free flights cost, do you have a problem with that?

Why not call a spade a spade?

He's trying to get the public to weigh in behind him on his own agenda to further line his own pockets. It's a publicity stunt, giving away (as if!) seats that would have most likely been empty otherwise. I double dare you to see how many "free" flights he's giving away on Friday or Monday to/from a major European city.

You don't think most business people do that? Advertising tries to get the public to support you over another, to line your pockets. I guess capitalisism is a b!tch. Typical sentiments of this country; perhaps you'd prefer to have the one state-funded airline?

Welcome to the world of business.

Well, typical consumer advertising is about trying to sell your product to people. Political advertising is trying to get the public to support you... M'O'Leary isn't a politician (thank god!), and his method of turning his customers into spammers, for his own monetary benefit, under false pretenses of free flights is very questionable - but to be expected of the man tbh.
