I have 4 port Dlink router, and I'm running out of ports, I need to connect ps2 and maybe another computer, and there is no space left, how do I expand? do I have to buy a hub and take one port from dlink and connect it to it?(leaving 3 ports on the hub)

Buy another Switch and just connect the two switches together with a cross over cable..

You can add another hub or switch to it if you like :)

You could just buy a wireless router. That way you have 256 wireless ports and you don't have to worry about wires again.

heh, might want to worry about wireless security though :)

reminds me of a friend of mine sent over to london on business, the office across from his room had an unsecured wireless network on a 10mb connection. :) lol

    Cyberghost.
I have a couple of 16 port switched hubs here, 10Mbps. 20.00 each.
Crossover cable incl. I can make up any other cat5e cables you need also.

Or worry about network performance again...

What network performance? It is fast enough for broadband and I even play online games with no loss of speed.

As for security. If a person wants to get into your system they will (if they know what they are doing), but causal people can be kept out using WEP, not broadcasting your router and enabling MAC address locking.

Anyone claiming Wireless is somehow crap has probably never used it.
