    Folks, for long haul flights, like London Heathrow > Singapore is Economy the default, I mean unless your business some bankrolling you do people generally take economy

    Economy would be the class most people would select being the cheapest and most basic class.

    Just take a look at the difference in price between economy and business.

    Here are return prices for the same flights with BA London-Singapore.

    economy £606
    premier economy £1076
    club (business) £3018
    first £5507

    A good friend of mine had a job where he would regularly be flown long haul by his employer, always business class. Often he would cash in the ticket and buy an economy one instead, he usually made over £1000 each way even after cancellation fees.
