I've run into a "small" problem with my computer. It won't/ can't visit secure Web pages. It pops up a "Connection to x refused error" in Firefox and just draws a "Page cannot be displayed" page through IE. Everything was fine, Interweb wise, until a few days ago. I don't know what happened. I figured maybe it was a firewall problem, but no. I turn both of them off but still to no avail.

Could someone pin-point a few possible problems? I need to book my Maiden ticket :(

(It's not my browser settings, by the way. I'm certain of that.)

I've had this problem before. Check your firewall.

Snap. It was to do with my firewall afterall. I done a quick re-install of Norton Internet Security to find everything was in working order.

Then I un-installed it again for being a temperamental piece of **** :) Cheers mate.
