stag party venue

    Hi,
    I'm looking for a stag party venue somehwere around the east /east midlands.
    Any suggestions ?
    Venue and one day activity (not too strenuos)
    about 15 of us, I was thinking of a horse racing day out followed by loads of scoops , so somewhere with a racecourse nearby and a town with 4 or five good pubs and maybe a nightclub.

    How about Carlow? I know it's not midlands but there's plenty of pubs and nightclubs, you could go paintballing in Laois nearby during the day or something.

    dont come to carlow. c'mon tom, its a stag do! remind me never to get u to organize a stag party ;)! too much hassle to go to laois anyway then back to carlow for drinks. plus theres all of 2 nightclubs in carlow, and both of them are ****. if u do come to carlow, u better be big into that whole "its not the place, its the company" thing!
    i'd recommend u stay up around dublin, kildare, maybe even meath or else u go deep into the country and just go mad.
    theres also the option of goin abroad. london?
    a mate of mine is goin to prague in may, i think, for a stag party. apparently its 60c a pint. plus u can get absynthe or however u spell it.

    The DAM yeh, it's been done already.
    Unfotunately most of the crew are unwilling to travel abroad so it will have to be Eire I fear.
    Naas was also on the cards , any comments on Naas and a stag party ???

    Naas is ideal because it has lots of nice pubs and of course three race courses near by. There's only one decent club though which might be tricky for 15 guys on a stag to get into. There are 3 other clubs which aren't great but still lots of fun.

    I've been to Amsterdam on a couple of Stag's and it's way too messy. Good spot though. Was at a Stag's in Edinburgh last year and it was an excellent place, highly reccommend it.

    But as you've said that people don't want to go abroad I'd suggest Kilkenny. Great spot!
