I'm a broke student with a boi third level account and 32 euro had to come out of my account but there was only 14 euro in it. However the direct debit was covered so i'm guessing i owe a late charge to the bank, how much?

The direct debit seemed to be covered you mean. That will prob pop back up to 14 tomorrow followed by a €6+ charge for missing the direct debit - assuming you don't have an overdraft setup.

most banks charge €6 for not having sufficient funds to cover a dirct debit, bank of ireland however have a standard charge of €12.75 , at least they did a year ago when i last fell afoul of the theiving scum bastards. you would want to pay it quickish too cos the interest is silly, i didnt look at the account for a few months and next thing i knew i owed them €40
